At Harrison Middle School, the in-crowd runs everything. Newcomer Jimmy just wants to keep his head down and read Weird Walt comics. But when he bumps into the coolest kid in school and accidentally knocks his phone into the toilet, Jimmy gets frozen out. No one will be seen with him.

Then a group of outcasts contacts Jimmy, with a secret plan to win one for “the invisibles”. All he has to do is enter a nerdy school election, for a job no one’s even heard of. It’s a crazy scheme — but if it works, he’ll beat the snobs, score points with his crush, and meet his hero, comics legend Weird Walt. It’s simple… until the in-crowd finds out, and starts to play dirty.

When things are unfair, you have to fight back. But how far should you go? How far is

Selfie, the school’s most glamorous eighth grader, has a terrible secret: she doesn’t have a date for prom. Too embarrassed to tell her “cool” friends, she turns to the most unlikely dating coach ever: nerdy 6^th-grader Becca Birnbaum. “You have to find me a date,” says Selfie. “It could legit be anyone… long as he’s handsome and super cool.”

Becca’s never had a date. She spends her time reading and drawing posters for Debate-A-Palooza. She doesn’t know cool, eighth grade guys. But when Selfie has nowhere to turn, Becca reluctantly agrees to help.
